The Method of Learning Knowledge

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third and fourth questions of Fatwa No. ( 4264 )
Q3: What is the best method for learning the Islamic sciences? Is it reading only, or writing down everything one reads, or memorizing everything one reads, or does it depend on the person’s circumstances and the breadth of his mind?
A3: I advise you to fear Allah, to learn from the Islamic sciences what you need to establish your religious and worldly affairs, to ask the scholars about whatever is difficult for you, to record from the sciences what you need to record, and to strive to memorize the Noble Qur’an and what is easy of the Sunnah, such as *Umdat al-Hadith* by Shaykh ‘Abd al-Ghani al-Maqdisi, and *Bulugh al-Maram* by al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar.
