Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says:The questioner : What is the ruling on this practice: selling grain for pigeons, which is found in the Haram, especially at al-Baqi', where some people buy it and then throw it, and some intentionally throw it in the cemetery? What is the ruling on this practice? And tell us, O Shaykh, about the sites visited in the Prophet's City that are indicated by evidence?

The Shaykh : Yes, I see that this is not a good practice. For a person to buy grain and throw it on the ground for pigeons is a mistake. Sometimes this grain is trampled by feet, especially during the season, because during the season the people are, what? In large numbers, and the pigeons cannot come down to eat. This is a mistake; it is wasting money and dishonoring food.
As for the sites in the city, they are: First: The Prophet's Mosque, where you pray as much as you wish.
Second: The grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the graves of his two companions, Abu Bakr and 'Umar.
Third: Al-Baqi'.
Fourth: The Mosque of Quba.
Fifth: The martyrs of Uhud. Other than these, there is no place in the city for which visiting is prescribed. Yes.
