The Sacred Hadiths

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

Fatwa number (11304) :

Q: What are the sacred hadiths? And why are they called by this name?
A: The sacred hadiths are those narrated by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from his Lord (Mighty and Majestic) through Gabriel (peace be upon him) or through revelation while awake or in sleep. They are called by this name in reference to al-quds, which means purity, because they are attributed to Allah the Exalted, who is al-Quddus, the One free from every defect and shortcoming. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
