Warning about some of the famous qudsi hadiths that have no basis.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : There are many of these qudsi hadiths, but they are very few compared to the ordinary Prophetic hadiths. Also, many of these qudsi hadiths are not authentic. There are many qudsi hadiths, some of which are famous among people, but they have no basis in the hadith. For example, everyone has heard: "My earth and my sky did not contain Me, but the heart of My believing servant contained Me." This hadith has no basis; rather, it is from the Isra'iliyyat, meaning what came in the books of the former people, the Jews and the Christians. As for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) speaking such words, that has no basis. Also, among the famous hadiths is the one where Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: "Whoever performs wudu and does not pray has neglected Me, and whoever prays and does not supplicate to Me has neglected Me, and I am not a Lord who is neglected." This hadith is the "neglecting" one because it has no basis in the hadiths of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
