What is the meaning of "the Qudsi hadith"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our brother asks and says: What are the Qudsi hadiths? I hope you will explain their meaning to us and give us an example of that?
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
The Qudsi hadiths: These are those attributed to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and that they are from His speech (Mighty and Majestic). They are called Qudsi, and they are not of the same kind as the Qur'an, for the Qur'an is a miracle, and worship is performed by reciting it, and it is read in the prayers.
As for the Qudsi hadiths, they are attributed to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), but they do not have the ruling of the Qur'an; however, they are from the speech of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Among this is what is established in Sahih Muslim from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) says:
O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself, and I have made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except the one I guide, so seek My guidance and I will guide you. O My servants, all of you are naked except the one I clothe, so seek My clothing and I will clothe you. O My servants, all of you are hungry except the one I feed, so seek My food and I will feed you. O My servants, you will not reach My harm to harm Me, and you will not reach My benefit to benefit Me...
to the end of the long hadith. This is what is called Qudsi hadiths; because they are attributed to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and it is an authentic hadith, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
