Exegesis of Verse 3 of Surat al-Tawbah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 7918 ):
Q1: It is mentioned in Surat al-Tawbahthe saying of Allah the Exalted:
And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for youوَأَذَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الأَكْبَرِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُ فَإِنْ تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ
[At-Tawbah 9:3]
the verse. The request is for an interpretation of the
noble verse, and how the method of grammatical analysis (i'rab) is done by grammarians, and that the answer include the grammatical analysis; because it is obligatory for every person who is not well-versed in the rules of grammar, and I am a beginner in the field of grammar and I barely memorize al-Ajrumiyyah. Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you?

A1: Allah the Exalted says:
And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messengerوَأَذَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ
[At-Tawbah 9:3]
, meaning: an announcement and a warning to the people,
on the day of the greater pilgrimageيَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الأَكْبَرِ
[At-Tawbah 9:3]
, which is: the Day of Sacrifice, the best of the days of the rites, the most prominent and the greatest of them, in which many of the rites of Hajj are performed, such as stoning the pillars, the sacrifice, shaving the head, and the circumambulation of farewell, along with what follows that of dhikr, takbir, and the like. And His saying:
that Allah is disassociated from the disbelieversأَنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
[At-Tawbah 9:3]
So, "His Messenger" in the verse is nominative (mudaf ilayh) absolutely, and transmitted from the reciters by conjunction to the hidden pronoun in
Freeبَرِيءٌ
, and its estimation is: (He), referring to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).
And this is the meaning of what Ibn Kathir said about the verse, and others of the scholars of exegesis. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
