Q: Is the Sunnah revelation or not?
A: The Sunnah is revelation from Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) to His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and the wording indicating it is from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). It is authentic that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

I have been given the Qur'an and its like with it

إني قد أوتيت القرآن ومثله معه
