Surat al-Ikhlas is equivalent to one-third of the Qur'an
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The seventh question of Fatwa No. ( 687 ):
Q7: It is known that Surat al-Ikhlas is equivalent to one-third of the Qur'an in terms of virtue and reward. If a person recites it three or four times, does this result in the virtue of completing the recitation of the entire noble Qur'an?
Vol. 7: The bounty of Allah is vast, and if it is established that the meaning of the hadith is that Surat al-Ikhlas equals one-third of the Qur'an in virtue and reward, then its reciter receives the reward of completing the recitation of the Qur'an three times. It is obligatory for the Muslim to remember his Lord, to recite from His Noble Book whatever is easy for him, to do good as much as he is able, and to hope for Allah's reward and good recompense. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
