Using means in treating the sick and seeking sustenance does not contradict divine decree

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 6667 ):
Q1: If Allah has required the Muslim to believe in divine decree, its good and its evil, then it is not permissible for him to consult a doctor for treatment if he is sick; because illness is a decree of Allah?
A1: Using means, such as treating illness and seeking sustenance, does not contradict divine decree; because Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, has decreed the decrees and commanded the use of means,
And everything has been made easy for what it was created for, as the authentic hadiths state. For this reason, it is permissible to treat oneself with permissible medicines, and this is part of Allah's divine decree. As 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said when he prevented entry into the plague-stricken lands during the year of the plague: "We flee from the decree of Allah to the decree of Allah." And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
