The eighth question of Fatwa No. ( 5741 ):
Q8: Is it permissible to stay overnight with a mushrik (one who associates partners with Allah) from the people of shrines and slaughter for other than Allah?
A: It is not permissible for him to stay overnight with a mushrik (one who associates partners with Allah) from the people of shrines and slaughter for other than Allah
for other than Allah; because it may influence him and invite him to his shirk (associating partners with Allah), except if he is compelled to do so, or if he sees the benefit in doing so in order to call him to Allah and guide him to the truth, hoping that Allah will guide him and grant him success in accepting the truth. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
