Q1: Can a person be a disbeliever while saying: "There is no god but Allah" on his tongue?
A1: A person may be a disbeliever in the sight of Allah while saying: "There is no god but Allah," such as the hypocrite who said: "There is no god but Allah" with his tongue but did not believe in it with his heart, like 'Abd Allah ibn Abi ibn Salul and those similar to him. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
