Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And Allah will surely make evident those who believe وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
[Al-'Ankabut 29:11]
with their hearts " The author said: "with their hearts" means not with their tongues. What was mentioned earlier,
And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ
[al-Ankabut: 10], is faith with the tongue, but this faith with the tongue does not benefit them with Allah. It is true that it benefits them in this world, which is why the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not kill the hypocrites despite his knowledge of them, but he refrained from doing so because their outward appearance was Islam. Had he killed them, it would have been a means for a Muslim to be killed on the pretext that he was a hypocrite, even though no one knows the state of his heart except Allah. For this reason, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
lest the people say Muhammad kills his companions لا يتحدَّثُ الناس أن محمدًا يقتل أصحابه
Sahih al-Bukhari 4907
And praise be to Allah that this is the Shari'ah, because if it were otherwise, every unjust ruler in our time would see a religious person and declare him a hypocrite and a pretender, saying he is a disbeliever in his heart, and then kill him. But among the blessings of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is that the Shari'ah made the ruling in this world based on outward appearances, while in the Hereafter it is based on inner secrets.
And Allah will surely make evident those who believe, and He will surely make evident the hypocrites. وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ
[Al-'Ankabut 29:11]
He will reward both groups
The believer is rewarded with the reward of a believer, and the hypocrite is rewarded with the reward of a hypocrite, and the reward of the hypocrite is that he is in the lowest depth of the Fire, may Allah protect us from it.
Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire - and never will you find for them a helper - إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِي الدَّرْكِ الأَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِيرًا
[al-Nisa: 145] He said: "The lam in the two verbs is a lam of oath." "Where are the two verbs?"
And Allah will surely make evident those who believe وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
[Al-'Ankabut 29:11]
He will surely know
And He will surely know the hypocrites وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ
the second one, so it is a lam of oath. Thus, the sentence is confirmed by three confirmers. Yes.
