Does the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) attend the Mawlid?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 4683 ):
Q1: Whatis the ruling on celebrating the Prophet's birthday, and does the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) attend?
A1: Respecting and honoring the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is only through believing in his message and acting upon what he brought from Allah. As for celebrating his birth, it is an innovated religious innovation. It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected.من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد
Sahih Muslim 1718a
, and it is not established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) attends after his death with any of the people. The original state is that he does not, so it is obligatory to remain with him until evidence appears of his being raised. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
