The ruling on raising the voice in dhikr and reciting Ayat al-Kursi after prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 8740 ):
Q1: I prayed in one of the mosques of Damascus . When we pray, they order one person to recite after every obligatory prayer, raising his voice with the recitation of (Ayat al-Kursi) and (Say: He is Allah, the One) along with (the two chapters of protection). And when he finishes the recitation, each person in the congregation repeats the recitation of Ayat al-Kursi and the two chapters of protection from beginning to end. Is this reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), or is it an innovation? And am I required to agree with them in this and be consistent in it, or not? Even though I know that the recitation of Ayat al-Kursi and the two chapters of protection is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And is it permissible for any of the worshippers to raise his voice after every obligatory prayer with the recitation of Ayat al-Kursi and others with the intention of teaching those who do not know how to recite Ayat al-Kursi and the two chapters of protection?

A1: It is not permissible to raise the voice with the recitation of what was mentioned after the prayers, neither by any of the worshippers nor by their congregation, even with the intention of teaching. Rather, it is an innovation; because it is not established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And it is established from him that he said (peace and blessings be upon him):
'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected.من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد
Sahih Muslim 1718a
narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim, and on this basis, you are not to agree with them in their innovation. Rather, you must disapprove of it and clarify the truth to them to the extent you can, with wisdom and good admonition; because of His saying, the Exalted:
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is bestادْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ
[An-Nahl 16:125]
, and because it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has not strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue, and if he has not strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart, and that is the least of faith.من رأى منكم منكرًا فليغيره بيده، فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه، فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه وذلك أضعف الإِيمان
