Fatwa number ( 7529 ):
Q: Ifmost people believe that things were created from the light of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and that his light was created from the light of Allahand they narrate, "I am the light of Allah, and everything is from my light," and they also narrate, "The first thing Allah created was the light of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)." Is there any basis for this? And they narrate, "I am Arab without an 'ayn, meaning Lord; I am Ahmad without a mīm, meaning One." Is there any basis for this?
A: We have previously provided a detailed answer in Fatwa number (2871). Its text is as follows: “Describing the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) as a light from the light of Allah, if it is intended to mean that he is an intrinsic light from the light of Allah, this contradicts the Qur’an, which indicates his humanity. If it is intended to mean that he is a light in terms of the revelation he brought, which became the cause of guidance for those of creation whom Allah willed, then this is correct. The Committee has issued a fatwa on this matter, and its
is: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has a light, which is the light of the message and guidance by which Allah guided the insights of those of His servants whom He willed. There is no doubt that the light of the message and guidance is from Allah. Allah the Exalted said:[Ash-Shuraa 42:51-53] This light is not acquired from the last of the awliya (close friends of Allah) as some materialists claim. As for his body (peace and blessings be upon him), it is blood, flesh, and bone… etc. He was created from a father and a mother, and there was no creation of him before his birth. What is narrated that the first thing Allah created was the light of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), or that Allah took a handful from the light of His face and that this handful was Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and He looked at it and drops fell from it, and He created a prophet from each drop, or that He created all of creation from his light (peace and blessings be upon him)—none of this or its like is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).” And from the previous fatwa, it appears that this is a false belief. As for what is narrated: “I am Arab without the letter ain,” it has no basis in truth, and likewise “I am Ahmad without the letter mīm.” The attribute of Lordship and uniqueness are among the attributes exclusive to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), so it is not permissible to describe any of creation as the Lord or as One in an absolute sense. These attributes are the exclusive domain of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He),
and the messengers or any other human beings are not described with them. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

(51) And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise. (52) And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path - (53) The path of Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Unquestionably, to Allah do [all] matters evolve.
