The first question of Fatwa No. ( 8821 ):
Q1: If something is lost from a person, and he says: 200 times, will what he lost be returned to him or not?
A1: This is not established in the Book of Allah, nor in the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), nor is it among the ordinary means by which a lost item is recovered. Rather, it is using the Qur'an for other than what it was revealed for, along with the specification of a number, and specifying by a number is a matter of divine legislation that is not known by intellect. And using it in this way is a religious innovation. It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sahih Muslim 1718a , narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
Q1: If something is lost from a person, and he says:
Indeed, He is able to restore it
