Going to a sorcerer to remove sorcery

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 1465 ):
Q: Is it permissible for a person who has been subjected to sorcery to go to a sorcerer to have the sorcery removed from him?
A: That is not permissible. The basis for this is what the Imam Ahmad and Abu Dawud narrated in their chains from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the removal of sorcery, and he said: It is from the work of Satan.سئل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن النشرة فقال: هي من عمل الشيطان
, and in natural medicines and lawful supplications there is sufficient remedy. Indeed, Allah has not sent down a disease without sending down for it a cure, which those who know know and those who do not know do not know. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded seeking treatment and forbade seeking treatment with what is forbidden. He said (peace and blessings be upon him):
so treat yourselves medically, but use nothing unlawful.تداووا، ولا تداووا بحرام
Sunan Abi Dawud 3874Da'if (Al-Albani)

It was also narrated from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Indeed, Allah has not made the cure for my Ummah in what He has forbidden to them.إن الله لم يجعل شفاء أمتي فيما حرم عليها
. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
