The wisdom behind the precedence of camels over other animals

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 7304 ):
Q: While reading the noble Book of Allah, I came upon a noble verse in His saying:
(17) Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created? (18) And at the sky - how it is raised?أَفَلا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى الإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ (17) وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
[Al-Ghashiyah 88:17-18]

The question is: What is the wisdom behind mentioning camels first, and what is the distinction that sets camels apart from other animals? We know that Allah raised the sky, which is a great thing without pillars; so what is the secret of this animal?

A: Allah the Exalted mentioned these verses after He said:
Has there come to you the news of the Overwhelming?هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
, as an argument for the Resurrection on the Day of Judgment, and to establish the power of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, to bring creation back to life after their death for the Reckoning and recompense. Indeed, whoever is able to create camels in this wondrous form, and to create the sky and raise it without pillars that we see, and to create the mountains in the earth to stabilize it and set them upon it like stakes so that it does not shake with those upon it of the existing things, and to create the earth and level it so that it is suitable for the life of creation above it, whoever is able to do that is surely able to bring people and others of the living beings back to life. The camels were mentioned before the others among the things mentioned because they are at their disposal, made subservient to them, so they use them however they wish: they ride them, and they load their heavy burdens upon them to distant lands that they could not have reached except with great difficulty, and they traverse the vast deserts and open spaces with them, despite their little expense and their patience with hunger and thirst, and despite the ease of driving them for the old and the young, and despite their kneeling and rising so that people can ride them and load them however they wish, in addition to the many benefits they reap from keeping them without hardship or fatigue. Allah has distinguished them with a unique structure in their bones that helps them carry
heavy burdens, and with a long neck that helps them rise with their heavy loads, as it helps them in their walking, and He has distinguished them with hooves that help them walk in places where animals with hooves and cloven hooves are not strong enough to walk. Much of the wonders of them is hidden from people, so Glorified is He who distinguished them from other animals and made them subservient to His servants despite their great creation and their increased strength, and He humbled them for them as a mercy to them and to help them with their interests. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad , and upon his family and his Companions.
