Question:
The questioner, who used the code name (M. S. Al-Maliki), says: I am inquiring about the noble verse:
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
[Al-Ghashiyah:17]?

Answer:
The intended meaning is that Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) urges His servants, He urges them to look at His creations for the lessons and evidence contained in them of His great power, that He is the Lord of the worlds, and that He is the one worthy of worship. For this reason, He says:
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
[Al-Ghashiyah:17].
These camels which Allah made for people as a provision, upon which they carry their heavy loads, from whose flesh they eat, from whose milk they drink, from whose dung they make fire, and from whose skins they take benefit. They have in them great benefits, they have in them many benefits
And upon them and on ships you are carried.
[Al-Mu’minun:22] as He (Exalted and Majestic is He) said:
And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.
[An-Nahl 16:5]
And for you in them is beauty when you bring them in and when you send them out And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with great difficulty. Indeed, your Lord is Merciful and Compassionate [An-Nahl:5-7].
So it is a sign, a great creation with many benefits. Allah says:
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
[Al-Ghashiyah:17] They should look at the great benefits in them, and the lessons in their creation and their benefits.
And at the mountains - how they are erected?
[Al-Ghashiyah:19] These great mountains, and the signs and lessons in them, are all among His great signs which He created for His servants so that they may take heed.
And so the sky, how it was raised above us, and Allah adorned it with stars... with the sun and the moon. And so the earth:
How it was spread outكَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
[Al-Ghashiyah:20] He spread it out for His servants. So these are four signs:
at the camels - how they are created?
[Al-Ghashiyah:17]
And at the sky - how it is raised?
[Al-Ghashiyah:18]
And at the mountains - how they are erected?
[Al-Ghashiyah:19]
And at the earth - how it is spread out?
[Al-Ghashiyah:20].
And so the others, such as the seas, rivers, trees, sun, moon, the difference between night and day, and others. All of it is signs, as He (Exalted and Majestic is He) said:
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.
[Aal 'Imran:190] Yes. May Allah grant us assistance. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah grant us assistance. May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.
