The wisdom behind sending the messengers in separate, intermittent periods
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first and second questions of Fatwa No. ( 8381 ):
Q1: What is the wisdom in appointing the prophets and messengers at intermittent intervals, and why were they not appointed in a single period?
A1: Allah the Exalted is Wise, and among His wisdom is that He made His prophets and messengers come in intervals, choosing and sending them whenever the need of mankind calls for them; to guide them when they go astray, and to save them from the shirk (associating partners with Allah) and corruption that has spread among them. Prophets and messengers may also gather in a single period; such as Dawud and Sulayman, and Ibrahim and Lut, and Musa and Harun.
