The Night Journey and the Ascension: A Waking Experience, Not a Dream, and the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) Seeing of His Lord

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Questions one and two from Fatwa No. ( 3089 ):
Q1 and 2: Did the Night Journey and the Ascension occur while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was awake, or not? And did the Messenger see his Lord with his eyes?
A1 and 2 : Both the Night Journey and the Ascension occurred while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was awake, as the scriptural evidence indicates. He (peace and blessings be upon him) did not see his Lord with his eyes, which is the view of the majority of the people of the Sunnah and the community . And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
