The Prophet's (peace be upon him) Night Journey and Ascension with his body and soul while awake, not in a dream

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6257 ):
Q2: Was the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) Ascension merely a vision, a dream, or a reality in which he was taken up spiritually or physically?
A2: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken up in a state of wakefulness, with his soul and body, from the Sacred Mosque to the Sacred Sanctuary at night, and he was ascended at night from the Sacred Sanctuary to the seventh heaven in a state of wakefulness, with his soul and body as well. This is the position of the people of the Sunnah and the community . Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Isra 17:1]. The original meaning of the word "His servant" is the name for the soul and the body, so one does not deviate from that except with evidence. And He the Exalted said: [Al-Isra 17:60]. A dream vision does not become a source of trial; because the ordinary person sees in his sleep that he has traveled the world, flown in the air, and ascended to the sky, and no one denies it to him when he reports it. Therefore, it is a visual vision. And He the Exalted said: [An-Najm 53:13-18]. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
And We did not make the sight which We showed you except as a trial for the people
(13) And he certainly saw him in another descent (14) At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary - (15) Near it is the Garden of Refuge - (16) When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]. (17) The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]. (18) He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.
