The Ruling on the Imami Shi'ah Sect in Islam and Its Origin

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 9420 ):
Q3: Is the Imami Shi'ah sect part of Islam? And who invented it? Because they, meaning the Shi'ah, attribute their madhhab to our master 'Ali (may Allah honor
his face), and also, if the madhhab of the Shi'ah is not part of Islam, what is the difference between it and Islam? I hope for a clear and sufficient explanation from your excellence and kindness, with correct evidence, specifically regarding the madhhab of the Shi'ah and their beliefs, and an explanation of some of the invented paths in Islam.

A3: The madhhab of the Imami Shi'ah is an innovated madhhab in Islam in its principles and branches. We advise you to review the books [The Broad Lines], [A Summary of the Twelve-Imamite Gift], and [The Path of the Sunnah] by the Shaykh of Islam, in which much of their innovations are explained. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
