Ruling on marrying those who invoke al-Hasan, al-Husayn, and 'Ali other than Allah

The first question of fatwa number ( 3008 ):
Q1: I am from a tribe residing in the Northern Borders, and we are mixed with tribes from Iraq whose school of jurisprudence is the Shi'ah. They are polytheists who worship shrines and call them: al-Hasan, al-Husayn, and 'Ali. When one of them stands up, he says: "O 'Ali, O Husayn." Some of our tribes have mixed with them in marriage and in all circumstances. I have admonished them, but they did not listen, and they are in the villages and in positions of authority. I do not have the knowledge to admonish them, but I dislike that and do not mix with them. I have heard that their slaughtered animals are not to be eaten, yet these people eat their slaughtered animals and do not restrict themselves. We ask your Eminence to clarify the obligatory duty regarding what we have mentioned.
A1: If the reality is as you described, regarding their invocation of 'Ali and al-Hasan and al-Husayn and the like, then they are polytheists committing major shirk (associating partners with Allah), which takes them out of the fold of Islam. It is not permissible for us to marry Muslim women to them, nor is it permissible for us to marry their women, nor is it permissible for us to eat from their slaughtered animals. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Baqarah 2:221] . And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Allah the Exalted said:
And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember.
