The ruling on reciting the Tijaniyyah and Qadiriyyah litany and praying behind a follower of them or over their body after death

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 4150 ):
Q3: Whatis the ruling on recitingthe Tijaniyyahand the Qadiriyyah? And what is the ruling on one who persists in either of them until death, and is it permissible for us to pray behind him or to perform the funeral prayer for him after his death? Please inform us; may Allah reward you.
A3: The litany of the Tijaniyyah and Qadiriyyah is not free from religious innovations involving shirk (associating partners with Allah) and superstitions; such as calling for aid from other than Allah, and dhikr (remembrance of Allah) that is not found in the Book of Allah the Exalted nor in the established Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Therefore, it is not permissible for you to worship Allah with them, nor is it permissible to pray behind one who is known to have worshipped Allah with them, nor to pray over his funeral if he dies, based on the apparent state of his condition. As for what is hidden from him, that is up to Allah the Exalted, for He is the One who knows the secret and what is even more hidden. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
