Does every disbeliever who disbelieves in matters of belief remain in the Fire forever?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : What is the ruling on one who disbelieves with the disbelief of apostasy before Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in the Hereafter?

The questioner : Remaining in the Fire.

The Shaykh : Remaining in the Fire, there is no doubt about it. Now, be careful: is it certain that every one who disbelieves this disbelief and deserves to remain in the Fire will definitely enter the Fire? Every one? The question is "every one." You are dragging out your words, and I am dragging out my patience even more than you.

The questioner : Pardon me.

The Shaykh : I am waiting for the answer, so take your time completely.

The questioner : It appears, yes, that he enters it.

The Shaykh : Now I say: I wanted to say I am reminding you, but it occurred to me that it is better for me to be cautious and say: perhaps I am reminding you, because it is possible that you are among those who have heard what I am about to ask about, and it is possible that you have not heard it. If you have not heard it, and I say "I am reminding you," I would be wrong. But if you have heard it, perhaps... has it ever reached your ears that there are people called the people of the interval (ahl al-fatra)?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Who are the people of the interval?

The questioner : They existed in a specific era when no messenger came to them.

The Shaykh : Okay, are these people Muslims or disbelievers?

The questioner : They will argue before Allah (Mighty and Majestic); the proof will be established against them before Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

The Shaykh : In my way, S and J, are they Muslims or disbelievers? Pay attention to this.

The questioner : Neither Muslims nor disbelievers.

The Shaykh : Neither Muslims nor disbelievers?

Another questioner : You are confusing us, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : You are reminding us of the statement of the Mu'tazilah: a station between the two stations.

Another questioner : Their analogy is confusing, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Okay, did these people not worship idols?

The questioner: No.

The Shaykh: Huh?

The questioner : They worshipped them.

The Shaykh : Then you do not know who the people of the interval are.

Another questioner : They worshipped idols.

Another questioner : No messenger came to them.

The Shaykh : They are a group or sect of disbelievers to whom the call of a messenger did not reach. They are disbelievers. By the consensus of scholars, these people of the interval are not punished. Why? Because of His saying (Blessed and Exalted is He) in the Noble Qur'an:
And never would We punish until We sent a messenger. وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّى نَبْعَثَ رَسُولًا
[Al-Isra 17:15]
, do you know who the people of the interval are?

The questioner: Yes.
-- ... --

The Shaykh : Do you have anything to say about the people of the interval before we build palaces and castles on the edge of a crumbling cliff?

The questioner : No, if Allah wills, it will not be on the edge of a crumbling cliff, but regarding the verse of the covenant:
And [mention] when your Lord وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ
[Al-A'raf 7:172]
.

The Shaykh : What is in the verse of the covenant?

The questioner : You said it.

The Shaykh
They said: Yes قَالُوا بَلَى
, what is in it? This is in the realm of the embryos, in a realm other than that of obligation. We are now speaking in the realm of obligation. But I drew your attention to the fact that you did not answer my question. My question: did it become clear to you who the people of the interval are? You said: yes. But the realm of the embryos, what is the connection between the realm of the embryos and the people of the interval? And are the people of the interval equal to those to whom the call came and the message reached, and all of them said in the realm of the embryos:
Nay بَلَى
? Are they equal in example, those to whom the call reached and those to whom it did not reach, and all of them are disbelievers, and all of them claimed that there is a god other than Allah? Are they equal in example?

Another questioner : They are not equal, because O Shaykh, the point of your speech is that no one is declared a disbeliever until the proof and evidence are established against him.

The Shaykh : Of course, this has been mentioned before, but I wanted to remind our brother of what is known among scholars under this title: "the people of the interval." The people of the interval are not judged to be in the Fire, even though they are disbelievers. Now, remember my word "every" as "every": does every disbeliever who disbelieves in matters of belief enter the Fire? The answer: it is necessary to distinguish, with the evidence that there are people whom scholars say are among the people of the interval. These people, even though they are disbelievers, are not judged to be in the Fire, so they are not included in His saying (Exalted is He):
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ
[An-Nisa 4:48]
. Matters of knowledge have precision and require comprehensive understanding.

The questioner : This means, glory be to Allah, that many people need to refrain from rushing. It is not a matter of great strength or speed, because people, O Shaykh, are rushing now. Now, there is no sermon or two sermons without a preacher becoming a preacher among the people, and this is the misfortune of people today.

The Shaykh: The Messenger of Allah spoke the truth.

The questioner : Many of our Salafi callers also do not know this if asked this question: does every disbeliever who disbelieves in matters of belief remain in the Fire forever? The answer: all of them say: yes.

The Shaykh : This is our companion here.

The questioner : They say: yes, but look now howThe Shaykh : what Allah willed, he showed that the matter requires distinction and not rushing. This is the greatest evidence of not rushing from our brothers. May Allah reward you with good, O our Shaykh.

Another questioner: May Allah bless you, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : How?

The questioner : This is the first time we hear this distinction.

Another questioner : A wonderful distinction.

The questioner : This is the jurisprudence that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) grants to whom He wills.

Another questioner : I mean, it is not just me, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : By Allah, I say: unfortunately, you are right, and I had hoped to say to you that you lied.

The questioner : And not even in the books of creed.

The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest!! I will tell you something last, perhaps it is the last so that we do not get entangled like others.
Hehehe.
