What is the ruling on one who prayed an obligatory prayer in a room containing images and did not notice their presence until after the prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on one who prayed an obligatory prayer in a room containing images and did not notice their presence until after the prayer? Does he have to make it up or break it off?

The Shaykh : There is nothing wrong with it, but he should be alert and observant. If a person does something and it does not occur to him that it contradicts the Shari'ah, our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) is more merciful than to hold that person accountable for it.
In any case, if he prayed in a place with images while being aware and remembering them, the prayer is valid in the sense that its performer fulfilled the obligation. However, there is no doubt that it is a contradiction, like a man who prays while looking at some entertainment or looking at a woman who passed in front of him. The prayer is valid, but that specific action is contrary to the Shari'ah. A person should, when entering prayer, be away from everything that contradicts the Shari'ah of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), whether it is from the pillars of prayer, the obligations of prayer, or the recommended practices and perfection of prayer.
