Abandoning the call to Islam on the pretext of not acting on what one preaches

The last message in this session came from one of the teachers, the sender (N) Abdul Haq from Makkah, from al-Masfalah. She says: I am a girl who works as a teacher in one of the schools, and I am somewhat aware of religious matters. When I meet the students during free periods, I guide and direct them. However, when I finish speaking, I say to myself: I might say something and not do it. I am afraid of that, but, praise be to Allah, I fulfill my duties toward Allah in the best way. Should I continue in my calling or not? I have learned from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): , and we thank you greatly.
Answer: The asking sister, the noble young woman asking, you are upon great good. Guiding the students and directing them to good is a required matter and contains great good. Do not be afraid that you may lag behind in something to which you called the students, for Satan exerts his evil efforts to discourage people from good and from calling to good. He says to the person: You may call to this and not do it, in order to discourage him. Not every caller or preacher is perfect and does everything, but he must strive and be careful to be among the first people to what he calls to, and among the farthest people from what he forbids. But this does not mean that if he has some shortcoming, he should lag behind. No, he must move forward and call to Allah and guide, whether male or female. The believing man and the believing woman must strive in this matter, through advice and directing the male and female students, and others besides the students, such as the women of the house, the women of the neighbors, and at appropriate gatherings in weddings and the like, the believing woman is a guide and a teacher. Likewise, the believing man, when he gathers with his brothers in any occasion, or in the house or in the mosque, is a guide according to the knowledge he has. He should not be deceived by Satan, nor should Satan deceive him by saying to him: Be silent, for you may call to something and not do it, and you may forbid something and do it. This is part of Satan’s discouragement. But let him strive and be careful to be among the foremost in what he calls to, and let him be among those who distance themselves from what he forbids. He should seek help from Allah and ask Him for success, and let him continue in his righteous work and his sound calling. Likewise, the believing woman, the student and the teacher, they must continue in the calling and directing, and seek help from Allah to act in a way that pleases Him (Glorified and Exalted is He), and success is from Allah.
Whoever conceals knowledge that he knows will be bridled with a bridle of fire
