The questioner : A female questioner says, "May your excellence...The Shaykh : I am a teacher in one of the schools teaching the scientific subjects, and my soul yearns to be a caller to Allah and to carry teaching to them, and Allah knows best. However, I do not find a connection between my specialization and what I want, which is calling to Allah. I have often stood confused when some of my female students ask: What is the purpose of studying this subject? My question, O honorableThe Shaykh : How can I make this specialization, which is far from the Shari'ah, a means of calling to Allah? And I have a final request: that you call upon Allah to guide me and to guide through me, and to untie a knot from my tongue?

The Shaykh : Yes. I say: If a woman or a man wants to be a caller to Allah, and his specialization in the knowledge in which he succeeded is far from this purpose, then he can call to Allah with the other knowledge he has, even if it is little. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Convey from me, even if it be an Ayah بلغوا عني ولو آية
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2669Sahih (Darussalam)

The body now is your body, with different processes. Look at your food, how it enters and how it exits? What transformed it from its initial state upon entry to its second state upon exit? Allah (Mighty and Majestic). But by what He deposited in the body of processes and repetitions. So if he is knowledgeable about this, he can call to Allah by this means. As Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And in yourselves. Then will you not see? وَفِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَفَلا تُبْصِرُونَ
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:21]
. If he is knowledgeable about geology and plants, he can explain to the students what is related to this that indicates the perfection of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and His power. And Allah the Exalted said:
And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] وَفِي الأَرْضِ آيَاتٌ لِلْمُوقِنِينَ
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:20]
. Yes.
