The Shaykh : I advise our brothers with what I advise myself: to continue in their intellectual and military jihad simultaneously, and not to be preoccupied with the enmity of their enemies of both types—whether they are outside the circle of Islam or within this circle but deviating, either from many of the correct beliefs of this Islam or from its morals, which every Muslim is commanded to practice, such as love and affection. In my belief, those who fight the call of tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and the people of this call are of two categories. The first category is ignorance of the reality of this blessed call. As for these people, we should look at them with the view of a compassionate doctor toward his patient; he tries to treat him with any medicine that does not distress the patient as much as possible. As for the one who knows the reality of this call and yet still opposes its people, we should not oppose them except by entrusting their matter to Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), who is the One who grants victory to the oppressed over the oppressors. Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) says: .
So I advise our brothers to be patient with the hostility they suffer, whatever type this hostility may be. Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is with the patient, and , while continuing to study this Islam according to the methodology on which we are all walking, if Allah wills, in understanding the Book and the Sunnah and following the methodology of the righteous Salaf, and calling people to that, as He (the Exalted) said: . And what I know from my long experience is that most of these opponents are ignorant of the reality of this call to which we are calling. So it is upon us to persist in the call and be patient with it until Allah (Mighty and Majestic) judges between us and those who differ from it. My greetings to all our brothers, hoping that Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) will grant them victory over their enemies, whatever their matter may be and wherever their affair may be. And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
