Continuation of the explanation of the hadith of Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah (may Allah be pleased with both of them): (… and that you pour from your bucket into your brother's vessel).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for the last part of this hadith, which is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
and to pour what is left in your bucket into the vessel of your brother. وأن تفرغَ مِن دلوك بإناء أخيك
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1970Sahih (Darussalam)
, it is a clear example of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Every good deed is charity كلُّ معروف صدقة
. If a Muslim helps his brother in this way, which is to pour from the well—where the owner of the well has water, and a man comes to ask for water, so he fills for him from his well, and he pours for him from his bucket when his companion is unable to do so—this is also recorded for him as charity. And as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Every good deed is charity كلُّ معروف صدقة
. There is no room for detailing this phrase
Every good deed is charity كلُّ معروف صدقة
except by the author writing a special book on it.
