I suffered from kidney failure during last Ramadan, and I fasted it, praise be to Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: O esteemed Shaykh, I suffered from kidney failure during last Ramadan, and I fasted it, praise be to Allah. But on some days I experience severe vomiting to the point that it returns to my stomach. My question is: Is my fast valid or not?

The Shaykh : Yes. This questioner’s fast is valid, because this vomiting was not of his own volition. You have heard that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever unintentionally vomits, he does not have to make up for the fast من ذرعه القيء فلا قضاء عليه
Sunan Ibn Majah 1676Da’if (Darussalam)
. And if something returns to the stomach without the person’s intention, he owes nothing, because one of the conditions of the things that break the fast is what? That it be intentional.
