The Shaykh : We continue reading the hadith and commenting on it in a manner appropriate to the situation. He said: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 490 .
In this passage of this qudsi hadith, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) informs His servants of their reality, that they err by night and by day. But it is as if He is saying to them: Do not despair, do not despair of the Spirit of Allah, for none despairs of the Spirit of Allah except the disbelieving people. This is because Allah (Mighty and Majestic) says: And even if you err by night and by day, I am also described with another attribute of majesty and perfection, just as He is described with being free from injustice. He describes Himself (Blessed and Exalted is He) as forgiving all sins, as is also in the Qur'an. However, He wants His servants not to rely on it or be negligent regarding the forgiveness of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). Rather, they must fulfill the duty of their servitude to Him and their submission to Him. Part of that is that they ask Him to forgive their sins. That is, when a Muslim remembers the reality concerning himself, which is that he errs by night and by day, and remembers another reality concerning Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), which is that He forgives all sins, it is necessary for this servant to establish his complete servitude to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) by asking Him to encompass him and include him in His forgiveness (Blessed and Exalted is He). Therefore, it came in another hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sahih Muslim 2749 . When He created this universe and arranged it and perfected its arrangement, part of that was that He created humans as sinners, but not to remain sinners, but rather as repenters, sinners and repenters. Therefore, he said (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 2749 : What do these people do? Sahih Muslim 2749 : But you have filled this gap, meaning: you err, but it is upon you to provide the completion, which is that you seek forgiveness from Allah (Mighty and Majestic) so that He forgives you. So His saying (Blessed and Exalted is He) in this hadith: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 490 : The crux of this passage is the last sentence: . So if one of us feels that he has sinned on a certain day, let him remember that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) forgives all sins, and let he turn to Him by seeking His forgiveness and asking for forgiveness from Him. And if Allah wills, in the next lesson we will complete what remains of the completion of this hadith. And this is sufficient, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
"My slaves! I have forbidden injustice for Myself and I have made it forbidden among you, so do not wrong one another. "My slaves! You err by night and day and I forgive wrong actions and do not care. Ask me for forgiveness and I will forgive you.
In this passage of this qudsi hadith, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) informs His servants of their reality, that they err by night and by day.
