Explaining the importance of asking questions in the pursuit of knowledge.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : From the evils of our own souls and from the badness of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, no one can misguide, and whoever He misguides, no one can guide. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. As for what follows:
One of the scientific methods for spreading beneficial knowledge, if Allah wills, is what our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, indicated in His Book:
So ask the people of the message if you do not know. فاسألوا أهل الذكر إن كنتم لا تعلمون
[An-Nahl 16:43]
, and also His saying (peace be upon him) in the hadith of the man who was struck with a wound on his head, then became in a state of major ritual impurity, and consulted some of those around him. They told him that he had to perform the full ritual bath, so he did, and the result was that he died. The news reached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); naturally, we are abbreviating the hadith. He (peace be upon him) said:
They killed him, may Allah kill them. Did they not ask when they were ignorant? Indeed, the cure for ignorance is asking. قتلوه قاتلهم الله ، ألا سألوا حين جهلوا ، فإنما شفاء العيِّ السؤال
Did they not ask when they were ignorant? Indeed, the cure for ignorance is asking. ألا سألوا حين جهلوا ، فإنما شفاء العيِّ السؤال
Thus, learning through the method of question and answer is a Salafi method that is followed, established by Allah, Mighty and Majestic, in His Book, and followed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in his Sunnah. Therefore, we see that this method is often more beneficial for some of the attendees, or for all of them, depending on the circumstances, because each one of them directs the issues he is concerned with more than others. Accordingly, if you have some questions, we would like to hear them. If we have an answer to them, we will answer; otherwise, we entrust the matter to its scholar. Please, go ahead.
