A lesson from the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) report that his parents are in the Fire, which confirms the meaning of Allah's saying: (So there are no kinship ties between them on that Day, nor will they ask one another about each other).

The Shaykh : And here is a very great lesson when we hear this unseen report about the parents of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). This is a practical confirmation by him (peace and blessings be upon him) of some texts in the Qur'an and some texts of his hadiths (peace be upon him). In the Qur'an, He the Exalted and Majestic said:
no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. فلا أنسابَ بينهم يومئذٍ ولا يتساءلون
[Al-Mu'minun 23:101]
: There are no kinship ties between them. And his hadith in *Sahih Muslim* also says:
he who is slow-paced in doing good deeds, his (high) lineage does not make him go ahead. مَن بطَّأ به عمله لم يُسرِع به نسبُه
Sahih Muslim 2699a
So in it is a noble guidance for anyone who may claim lineage to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He must remember on such an occasion that the Prophet does not benefit him, nor does he intercede with Allah the Exalted and Majestic except by His permission, as you read every day after every prayer:
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? مَن ذا الذي يشفع عنده إلا بإذنه
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
If Allah the Exalted and Majestic did not benefit the parents of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) by the fact that they were his parents, and he is the master of mankind, then who benefits from claiming lineage to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) if he does not claim lineage to his religion and the Shari'ah he brought? If you know these facts, then it will be easy for you to refute the falsifiers who follow the desires and emotions of people, play with them, and deviate with them into error. They say: How is it conceivable that the parents of the Messenger would be in the Fire? The issue is a matter of Shari'ah, not a matter of intellect, or what is conceivable or inconceivable, but rather
and submit with full submission ويسلموا تسليماً
