There are video tapes containing dubbed images of animals and others that narrate educational and historical stories free from songs and music

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : This questioner says: There are video tapes containing dubbed images of animals and others that narrate educational and historical stories free from songs and music. What is the ruling on these tapes? And what is your opinion, O your Eminence, regarding one who narrates fictional stories to children that encourage the manners of Islam, for example?

The Shaykh : Are these dubbed images in the form of terrifying shapes that one fears for the minds of the boys, or not? If it is the former, then it is not permissible, because it is obligatory for us to keep our children away from everything that disturbs their minds. But if they are reasonable images and contain education, then there is nothing wrong with them, but on the condition that the story is not attributed to a specific person who did not say it or do it. The scholars, may Allah have mercy on them, still use examples and say: This man did such and such and did such and such. But it is not a reality; rather, they intend to illustrate and make it clear. Yes.
