regarding the issue of a controller interrupting his prayer if he fears a collision between aircraft?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Why does he interrupt the prayer?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : How do the two planes collide?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : And it is possible that no collision occurs?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : And it is possible that no collision happens?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : ... Okay, does he interrupt the prayer just because a collision is possible? Why don't we consider the possibility of another outcome?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you. This is not what you are saying. You say it is possible, and the perspective is that the opposite is possible, and you say: Yes. Whereas I said yes, and you see it before you, and that it is on the verge of falling into the well; is it said that it is possible that it will fall? Or, as I said, it is more likely that if he does not interrupt, it will fall? So this is completely different from that. Therefore, a person must be precise in what he does, precise in what he says, and precise in what he issues as a ruling. It is not the case that merely because he imagines a collision might occur between two planes, even though this possibility is countered by another possibility, we say that he interrupts the prayer and invalidates the prayer because it is possible. This is not permissible in Islam.

Another questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Yes?

Another questioner : ... .

The questioner : A group of employees assist him; he is not alone in ...; he can pray while the second one takes his place.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah. And therefore, I say that the person of legal capacity must study the matter with precision, and not complicate the issue and contradict the Shari'ah.
