The Ruling and Method of Prayer for a Traveler on an Airplane

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A man is traveling to Jeddah a quarter of an hour before the 'Asr adhan. He says: How do I pray while I am on the airplane, and the plane will arrive shortly before Maghrib?

Answer:
He prays on the airplane. If he departed before the time of prayer entered and he fears that the time will be missed, he prays on the airplane. However, from Riyadh to Jeddah, he arrives within the time of 'Asr.
Q: Okay, what about the qiblah, O Shaykh?
A: He faces the qiblah along with the airplane. He turns until his face is toward the qiblah for the obligatory prayer.
Q: It is not possible for him on the airplane, because there is no designated space on the airplane?
A: Even so, he rests his back in the place of his face. He turns with the airplane until he faces the qiblah.
Q: Does he pray while standing or while sitting?
A: While sitting.
Q: Even at the end of the time?
A: He prays within the time.
Q: What if he will catch 'Asr in Jeddah at the very end of the time?
A: If he catches it, there is no harm. And if he prays on the airplane, there is no harm. But if he will not catch 'Asr until after the sun has turned yellow, he prays on the airplane.
