What is the ruling on praying in an airplane if a person fears missing the time?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner, Abdullah Ahmad, asks: What is the ruling on praying in an airplane if a person fears missing the time?

The Shaykh : Praying in an airplane: if a person is able to perform the obligatory acts, he prays as he would on the ground. But if he is unable to do so, as is the case with airplanes today, then if it is a prayer that can be combined with the one following it, he should wait until he lands at the airport and delay the first prayer to combine it with the second as a delayed combination. If it is a prayer that cannot be combined with the one following it, such as the 'Asr prayer or the Fajr prayer, for example, he should pray it according to his circumstances before the time expires. It is obligatory for him to fulfill every condition, pillar, and obligation of the prayer that he is able to perform. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
