Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : How is it that the human being is the one who bore the trust, while he is obligated, and he had no choice in bearing it?

The Shaykh : And what is it?

The questioner : How is it that the human being is the one who bore the trust... This questioner is asking: How is it that the human being is the one who bore the trust.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And he is obligated, and he had no choice in bearing it?

The Shaykh : Yes. I say: Allah the Exalted said:
And the human being bore it وَحَمَلَهَا الإِنْسَانُ
, and Allah the Exalted does not wrong anyone. If the human being had not chosen to bear this trust, Allah would not have said:
And the human being bore it وحملها الإنسان
. And as we mentioned in the exegesis: the human being bore it with the intellect and the capacity for action that Allah gave him, and with the messengers He sent to him and the books He revealed to him. So it is as if he said: I am ready for it, I am the one who will bear it, because I have the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, and I have intellect and discernment. Yes.
