Can Qur'anic verses serve as evidence for the authenticity of a hadith, as in the hadith

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good, our Shaykh. In *Sahih al-Jami'* (or the *Sahih* series), volume five, I do not recall the exact hadith, but you mentioned a Qur'anic witness. This foundational principle is not found, meaning there is no sufficient explanation of it in the books of terminology. I wish you would provide an explanation now. May Allah reward you with good.

Another questioner : In the hadith of the promise and the threat:
If I threaten, then it is by choice, and if I promise, then I am the one who fulfills the promise. إذا أوعدت فبالخيار وإذا وعدت فأنا منفذ الوعد
... If Allah promises

The Shaykh : In fact, in my opinion, the issue does not require much explanation. However, I say that some of the contemporary Jahmiyyah today deny many of the hadith texts when they see them as an argument against them. They do not do so with a scientific or hadith-based argument, but rather with what some of them today call "internal criticism," instead of the older term "criticism of the text." For example, the well-known hadith of the slave girl, which you are all familiar with, in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) testified to her faith because she answered his question (peace be upon him):
Where is Allah? أين الله ؟
She said: "In the sky." These Jahmiyyah do not believe in the phrase "in the sky," and they say that it contains *tajsim* (ascribing a body to Allah) and *takyif* (asking how an attribute is), and I do not know what other terms they use that Allah has not sent down. Suppose, for instance, that this hadith is weak as they claim. But Allah's saying:
Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven أأمنتم من في السماء
[Al-Mulk 67:16]
is the greatest witness to this hadith. Therefore, one should not hesitate to authenticate this hadith, because if we authenticate a hadith with a chain that has some weakness, it is even more so that we should authenticate it with a Qur'anic text whose authenticity is certain. And I think, and Allah knows best, that the reason scholars did not address this and did not dwell on it is that the Qur'an is stronger than the hadith many times over.

The questioner : Our Shaykh, there are many weak and fabricated hadiths that are witnessed to by general texts.

The Shaykh : But we are speaking now about the wording.

The questioner : A specific word in particular?

The Shaykh : Yes, as I said, "in the sky."

The questioner : Then the topic is outside the scope of the discussion.

The Shaykh : And what is it?

The Shaykh : I mean, the topic is not strengthened by saying that this is the Qur'an, so we authenticate the text of the Prophetic hadith.

The Shaykh : Yes, that is correct.
Al-Halabi : The potential weakness.

The Shaykh : Yes... May Allah help you.
