What is the validity of the following rule mentioned by our brother Adnan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Our brother Adnan, in his lessons, establishes rules, and I don't know, perhaps you have heard some of these rules he mentions. In one lecture, he stated a rule that caught the attention of those present with surprise, and truly, we must seek your opinion on it, my Shaykh. He said: "The rule, my Shaykh, is: 'A sound, correct, and clear creed, without good character, equals a da'wah result of zero.' So, of course, subhan Allah, and I was among those present in the session, and we were stunned by this statement. He said: 'I am surprised at you,' as if he saw the look of surprise on the faces. He said: 'Listen to the words of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, where He says regarding Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him):
And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ
[Ali 'Imran 3:159]
.' He then said: 'That is, no person is better in creation, excuse me, better in belief than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), in understanding the creed and calling to it. But the Lord of Majesty and Honor warned that this sound creed, if it is not accompanied by good character and a good call to this character, what is the result? He called it the da'wah result of nothing, or the da'wah result is zero.' So I don't know, truly, my Shaykh, what is your opinion?

The Shaykh : Write the phrase as it is.

The questioner : I mean, write it, my Shaykh, if Allah wills, approximately, my Shaykh.

The Shaykh : I mean, the problem is here.

The questioner : No, I mean this is an approximation, my Shaykh, certainly it is like this, but perhaps a word here or a word there, I mean, it doesn't change the meaning of what I heard.

The Shaykh : If he is saying this meaning.

The questioner : Yes, exactly.

The Shaykh : If he is saying this meaning.

The questioner : Yes, a correct creed.

The Shaykh : With bad character.

The questioner : The da'wah result is zero.

The Shaykh : The da'wah result is zero.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Okay, bad character.
