Explanation of the report of Abu al-‘Ajlan al-Muharibi, who said

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: He narrates with a hasan chain:
From Abu al-‘Ajlan al-Muharibi, who said: “I was in the army of Ibn al-Zubayr, and a cousin of mine passed away. He had bequeathed a camel in the cause of Allah. So I said to his son: ‘Give me the camel, for I am in the army of Ibn al-Zubayr.’ He said: ‘Come with us to Ibn ‘Umar so we can ask him.’ So we went to Ibn ‘Umar. He said: ‘O Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman, my father has passed away and bequeathed a camel in the cause of Allah. This is my cousin, and he is in the army of Ibn al-Zubayr. Should I give him the camel?’ Ibn ‘Umar said: ‘O my son.’”
This is the point of interest.
Ibn ‘Umar said: “O my son, the cause of Allah is every righteous deed. Your father only bequeathed his camel in the cause of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). So when you see a group of Muslims fighting a group of polytheists, give them the camel. For this [army] and its companions are in the cause of the servants of a people, whichever of them places the seal.”
The narration ends. And in it, as is customary, there are benefits that arise on the occasion of the author’s presentation of the story for the sake of this phrase, namely that Ibn ‘Umar said to the questioner, “O my son.” So it is necessary to return to, so it is necessary then to go back to the beginning of the story.
