Explanation of the report of Abu al-‘Ajlan al-Muharibi, who said: “...

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : It is narrated with a hasan chain of transmission.
From Abu al-‘Ajlan al-Muharibi, who said: “I was in the army of Ibn al-Zubayr, and a cousin of mine passed away and bequeathed a camel of his in the path of Allah. So I said to his son, ‘Give me the camel, for I am in the army of Ibn al-Zubayr.’ He said, ‘Come, let us go to Ibn ‘Umar so we can ask him.’ So we went to Ibn ‘Umar, and he said, ‘O Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman, my father has passed away and bequeathed a camel of his in the path of Allah, and this is my cousin, and he is in the army of Ibn al-Zubayr. Should I give him the camel?’ Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘O my son...’” Here is the point of interest: “Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘O my son, in the path of Allah is every righteous deed. If your father only bequeathed his camel in the path of Allah, then when you see Muslim people attacking a people of the mushrikin, give them the camel, for this man and his companions are in the path of the young men of the people, whoever places the seal.’”
The narration ends, and in it, as is customary, there are benefits that come with the author’s presentation of the story for the sake of this phrase, that Ibn ‘Umar said to the questioner: “O my son”. So it is necessary to return, so it is necessary then to go back to the beginning of the story.
