Explaining the categories of the Sunnah, and that there is no path to knowing it except through the Companions and those who came after them.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ... and his Sunnah is divided into three categories: speech, action, and approval. There is no path for us to reach this Sunnah and become acquainted with it except through the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Therefore, there is no way for a Muslim to be among the saved group except by following the Book and the Sunnah, and following the path of the righteous Salaf. This third matter must be firmly established in the minds of all Muslims if they are sincere in their desire to be among those saved on the Day of Resurrection
(88) The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children (89) But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ * إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
[Ash-Shu'ara 26:88-89]
. Today, we live among groups that all claim to belong to Islam, and all believe that Islam is the Qur'an and the Sunnah. However, the masses among them have not accepted relying on the third matter mentioned above, which is the path of the believers: the path of the honored Companions and those who followed them with excellence, from the Tabi'un and those who followed them, as we mentioned earlier in the hadith:
The best of people is my generation خير الناس قرني
to the end of it.
