Explanation of the prescribed nature of taking a different route when going to and returning from the Eid prayer.

The Shaykh : There is also another discussion regarding the Eid prayer. If you come from one route, the Sunnah is to return by a different route. The Sunnah is to return by a different route. That is, if you have two routes to the mosque, you go by one and return by the other, following the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), because it is established from him that when he would go by one route, he would return by another. Now, if your route to the mosque is only one, meaning there is no second route, what do you do? We say that it appears that there is no person who does not have two routes to his house, so he goes from the right to the left or from the left to the right. And with this, we have finished what we intended to speak about from this aspect, but on the occasion of mentioning the Eid prayer and making up the additional takbirs.
