The Shaykh : In the previous lesson, the last point we reached was "The Chapter on One Who Does Not Confront People with His Words." We read therein the hadith of A'ishah: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard something in which a concession was made, so some people distanced themselves from it. That reached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he delivered a sermon, praised Allah, and then said: Sahih al-Bukhari 6101. We commented on this hadith with what is appropriate for the occasion.
As for the hadith that follows this one in this chapter, it is a weak hadith, so we turn away from it.
What is wrong with such people as refrain from doing a thing that I do? By Allah, I know Allah better than they, and I am more afraid of Him than they.
ما بال أقوام يتنزَّهون عن شيء أصنعه ؟! والله إني لَأعلَمُهم بالله ، وأشدُّهم له خشيةAs for the hadith that follows this one in this chapter, it is a weak hadith, so we turn away from it.
