What is your comment on the Gulf crisis and seeking the aid of disbelievers in it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The Gulf crisis.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : I was not aware of it... the whole thing and his complete opinion.

The Shaykh : We heard it anyway.

The questioner : It is long... would you like me to explain it to you, if Allah wills?

The Shaykh : ... that it is a necessity, so what does he say about the Jews?

The questioner : "And if he knows their support, there is no harm in seeking their aid."

The Shaykh : You stopped there, let us discuss it phrase by phrase. So what?

The questioner : "If the oppressed fears..."

The Shaykh : Good; continue.

The questioner : "...being overcome and he sought the help of one he trusts."

The Shaykh : From where does he trust him? ... the obligation of Islam ... the Jews upon us ... .

The questioner : "And if he knows their support, there is no harm in seeking their aid."

Another questioner : Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner : "There is no harm in seeking the aid of some of the enemies who are on our side against our enemy, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who is the best of creation, sought the aid of al-Mu'tam ibn 'Adi when Abu Talib, the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) uncle, died, and he was a disbeliever."

The Shaykh : Here, too... because the Messenger (peace be upon him), when he sought aid, did so while in a position of strength, whereas your seeking aid occurred in a position of weakness.
-- Another questioner : How are you, my Shaykh? How is your health, my professor?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, I am well. Welcome, how are you? --

The questioner : "And likewise, when he needed a guide to show him the way to Madinah, he hired a man from the polytheists."

The Shaykh : The same answer applies.

The questioner : The same answer applies.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : And another matter: "And when he needed the Jews after the conquest of Khaybar, he entrusted them with its date palms and crops for half the produce to plant for the Muslims, while the Muslims were occupied with jihad for the benefit of the Muslims, and the enmity of the Jews toward the Muslims is well known, and likewise."

The Shaykh : But today the situation is completely reversed, for the Muslims are occupied with agriculture and livestock instead of jihad, so the difference between the evidence and what it indicates is vast!!

The questioner : "Our benefit and against our enemy, so there is no blame on us in seeking his aid against our enemy and for our benefit, until Allah delivers us from our enemy, and then our enemy returns to his land, and whoever knows this reality and knows the state of the oppressor and his injustice, which is a great danger to be feared from him, and knows the scriptural evidence, the matter becomes clear to him."

The Shaykh : Yes, that is right, meaning theoretical answers regarding the nature of the calamity that befell the Arab and Islamic world.
