What is the meaning of “the extra portion of the liver of the Nūn” in the hadith found in *Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim*?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: Here he saysThe questioner: A hadith with such-and-such a number from *Mukhtasar al-Sahih*, so what are they gifted with when they enter Paradise? He said:
The extra portion of the liver of the Nūn زيادة كبد النُّون
; what is the meaning of the phrase:
The extra portion of the liver of the Nūn زيادة كبد النُّون
?
The nun, of course, refers to the whale, the great whale in the sea, and the extra portion of the nun's liver. The liver—also—its tip is, as the scholars of hadith say,
The extra portion of the liver of the Nūn زيادة كبد النُّون
meaning its tip. They say that the most delicious and best part of the whale is the tip of the whale. The meaning of this hadith, of course—even thoughThe student : he was not asked—is that there is a very great whale. Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) bestows upon the people of Paradise by feeding them from the liver, not from the whale; from the whale's liver, and not from the liver itself; but from the extra portion; that is, from the tip of one of the tips of this liver. So how huge must this whale be? Allah is the Greatest! Indeed, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is the One who created the heavens and the earth and says:
And We are indeed expanding it وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
, and He has given the people of Paradise from the kingdom what is the most deserving person in Paradise in rank, and he is the one who comes out of the Fire after having become black embers, and enters Paradise crawling toward it. When he enters Paradise, he has in it the like of the world and ten times its size. How vast will this universe be, and what will the Lord of the Worlds add to it? So do not be surprised that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) bestows upon the people of Paradise by feeding them, first of all, from the tip of the whale's liver.
