Clarification that the enmity is with the partisans of the schools of jurisprudence, not with the imams of the schools themselves!

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In any case, as we have said, the problem is between us and the partisans of the schools of jurisprudence, not between the imams of the schools. The imams of the schools were upon the Salafi methodology of the Book and the Sunnah. None of them prioritized an opinion over the Book and the Sunnah when a text from the Book and the Sunnah was established with them. This is unlike these people; you have just heard what I named for you, who says: if there is a verse or a hadith that contradicts the school of jurisprudence, it is interpreted as being abrogated! This means exalting the school of jurisprudence more than exalting the Qur'an and the Sunnah. The imams do not say this at all. Therefore, the disagreement is between the Salafi call and those who follow the schools of jurisprudence, not between the Salafi call or the callers to the Salafi methodology and the imams of the schools of jurisprudence. No, we take pride in the fact that they were upon guidance from their Lord. For this reason, the only way to resolve the issue is for us to call all Muslims to abandon sectarianism regarding the schools of jurisprudence and to adhere to the Salafi school, which is the Book and the Sunnah, and upon the methodology of the righteous predecessors. I do not believe that anyone who has been given even a particle of knowledge of the Book and the Sunnah would dispute this clear matter.
If you have a comment, we will hear it from you, if Allah wills.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh: And you as well, if Allah wills.
